Famously, the park is home to a beloved garden centre. Heaton Park’s Garden Centre is a family run business that offers a host of plants, alongside a favoured cafe. Nearby, the Animal centre resides. A free place to discover traditional farm animals, you can also discover other remarkable species like: alpacas, peacocks and Sulcata tortoises. The centre is available to visit from 10am until 4pm.

The infamous Reddish Vale
Located in the uk/local/stockport/">Stockport area, Reddish Vale is another popular Manchester park. Known as a ‘green corridor’, it is a path to Denton’s town centre. Reddish Vale spans across 161 hectares, near the River Tame.The country park offers a range of outdoor activities. Additionally, fishing is a popular pursuit there. Like Heaton Park, they also offer farm visits to Reddish Vale Farm, where it is mostly visited by families.
