Manchester (Manchester Mirror) November 06, 2026 — Bechtle AG, the Germany-headquartered IT services group, has acquired Bespoke XYZ Limited, a Manchester company founded in 2013, together with its subsidiary Savvy. Bechtle has acquired Manchester-based Bespoke XYZ and its subsidiary Savvy in a move designed to expand its artificial intelligence, data analytics and automation capabilities.

As reported by Bechtle in its official press release, the acquisition is intended to strengthen the group’s position in the “fast-growing market for artificial intelligence, data analytics and automation”. Bespoke provides Microsoft-based AI, data analytics and Power Platform solutions, while Savvy supplies managed IT services to the education sector, including IT support, Microsoft 365 and licensing, cloud, infrastructure and cybersecurity services.

What does the acquisition mean for Bechtle?

The deal brings 52 employees into Bechtle, including an offshore delivery team based in the Philippines. Bespoke generated approximately £3.5 million in revenue during the 2025/26 financial year, according to Bechtle’s announcement.

Bechtle said that it and Bespoke had already worked together on customer projects for more than two years. Despite the acquisition, Bespoke will initially continue to operate as an independent company within Bechtle UK.

As reported by Computer Weekly, the transaction is Bechtle’s sixth acquisition in the UK and Ireland. The publication stated that most of those acquisitions have taken place in the past four years.

Why has Bechtle bought Bespoke XYZ?

Bechtle said the acquisition expands its expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, Copilot and AI agents. It also said the deal broadens its ability to develop and implement AI strategies, automation and analytics solutions, and managed services.

James Napp, Regional Director UK&I at Bechtle, said the acquisition would give the company a route to support customers beginning their AI adoption journey. As reported by Computer Weekly, Napp said:

“The acquisition of Bespoke enables us to provide a clear path to AI for customers who are often not sure where to begin on the AI journey.”

Napp further stated that Bespoke would form the foundation of Bechtle’s AI Practice. According to Bechtle’s announcement, this practice is intended to position the company “at the heart of the customer’s AI-enabled business and IT transformation strategy”.

As reported by IT Channel Oxygen, Napp described the purchase as a “capability” rather than a “scale” acquisition. The publication reported that he said Bechtle wanted to bring the capability “in house” following the launch of its AI practice in October.

Who will lead Bespoke after the deal?

Bespoke’s founders and majority shareholders, Sam Bright and Jordan Brookes, will remain with the business. Bechtle said they will continue to drive its development alongside the group.

Sam Bright said: “We founded Bespoke with the ambition of delivering innovative solutions built on the latest Microsoft technologies. In Bechtle, we have found a strong partner that shares our vision and gives us new opportunities to scale our expertise and expand into new markets.”

Jordan Brookes said: “Joining Bechtle opens up exciting new opportunities for our team, our customers and our business. Together, we can further expand our expertise in AI, automation and data platforms while supporting our customers even more effectively as they advance their digital transformation.”

How large is Bechtle’s UK and Ireland operation?

Bechtle has operated in the UK for 29 years and has maintained a presence in Manchester since July 2019. Since 2022, it has completed four acquisitions in the UK and, most recently, one in Ireland.

The company said its UK and Ireland business employs 424 people across London, Chippenham, Manchester, Northampton and Newbury. It also employs a further 64 product lifecycle management specialists in Thelwall, near Manchester.

Bechtle’s earlier UK acquisitions include ACS Systems in 2022, Tangible Benefit in 2023, and Qolcom and PLM software developer DriveWorks in 2024. In Ireland, the company has been represented in Dublin since 2008 and, since October 2026, through ITQuotes.

What services does Bespoke provide?

Bespoke XYZ focuses on Microsoft-based AI, data analytics and Power Platform solutions. Its subsidiary, Savvy, provides managed IT services to education-sector customers.

According to Bechtle, Savvy’s services include IT support, Microsoft 365 and licensing, cloud services, infrastructure and cybersecurity. The acquisition therefore adds both AI-focused consulting and implementation capability and managed-services expertise to Bechtle’s UK business.

As reported by IT Channel Oxygen, Bespoke has an offshore delivery team in the Philippines and reported revenue of £3.5 million. The publication also identified the company as having 52 staff.

Is this part of a wider AI acquisition trend?

The transaction follows several other channel acquisitions focused on AI capabilities. As reported by Computer Weekly, recent examples include CloudClevr’s acquisition of Flow AI, mHance’s purchases of CPS and City Dynamics, and Focus Group’s acquisition of Prime Networks.

Computer Weekly reported that customer demand is increasing for support in developing AI strategies, establishing data foundations and managing security risks. It also cited Omdia analysts at last month’s Canalys Channel Forum, who said channel businesses need to evolve their propositions to meet customer expectations.

Background of the development

Bechtle was founded in Neckarsulm, Germany, and provides IT products, services and solutions to commercial end customers and the public sector. Its UK presence dates back to 1997, when it established a sales organisation in Chippenham.

Bespoke XYZ was founded in 2013 and is based in Manchester. The company’s focus on Microsoft technologies aligns with Bechtle’s stated strategy of expanding AI, automation, analytics and managed-services capabilities across its UK and Irish operations.

The acquisition follows Bechtle’s earlier expansion through ACS Systems, Tangible Benefit, Qolcom, DriveWorks and ITQuotes. Bechtle said the Bespoke deal is its sixth transaction in the UK and Ireland and forms part of its continuing growth strategy in the British market.

Prediction: what could this mean for customers?

For UK organisations considering AI adoption, the acquisition could increase access to Microsoft-focused AI, automation and data-analytics services through Bechtle. Customers may be able to draw on Bespoke’s existing expertise in Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, Copilot and AI agents, alongside Bechtle’s wider UK and European operations.

For education-sector customers, Savvy’s continued presence within the Bechtle Group may provide continuity in managed IT services, including Microsoft 365, cloud, infrastructure and cybersecurity support. Bechtle has said Bespoke will initially remain independent, which suggests existing customer relationships and operating arrangements are expected to continue in the near term.

For Bespoke employees and partners, the deal could create opportunities to scale services across Bechtle’s wider European organisation. Bechtle said Bespoke’s expertise has the potential to benefit the group’s broader European business as it expands AI-based consulting and transformation services.
